Public Interest Lawyers

ACS ResearchLink offers support to public interest lawyers along several dimensions. The program:

  • Enables the compilation of legal scholarship relevant to the legal practice of topic authors without the need to directly supervise students.
  • Generates papers on topics practitioners often lack time to explore.
  • Facilitates national exposure for topic authors' organizations.
  • Acquaints the next generation of lawyers with issues of vital importance and the organizations that engage them.
  • Cultivates the willingness of law students to work in the public interest.
